Everything here is general information about pediatric home healthcare and the Georgia Pediatric Program. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it does not create a clinician-patient relationship between you and HomeCare Roots. Reading this website is not the same as being assessed by a nurse.

Always consult your child’s physician about your child’s care. Do not delay seeking medical advice, or disregard advice you have been given, because of something you read here. If this is a medical emergency, call 911.

We cannot guarantee eligibility or coverage

Eligibility for the Georgia Pediatric Program, the number of hours authorised and which services are covered are all determined by Georgia Medicaid, based on medical necessity documented by your child’s physician. Those decisions are not ours to make.

Figures we quote on this site — funding typically approved within about 30 days, most families authorised for roughly 25 to 40 hours a week — describe what we commonly see. They are context, not a promise. Your family’s outcome depends on your child’s documented needs and on decisions made by Georgia Medicaid. Nothing on this website is an offer, a guarantee of coverage, or a commitment that we can staff a particular case.

Acceptable use

Use the site for its purpose: learning about our care, contacting us, referring a patient, or applying for a job. Please do not:

• Submit false information, impersonate someone else, or refer a patient you are not authorised to refer.
• Send unlawful, abusive, harassing or deliberately misleading content through our forms.
• Attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the site, our forms, our infrastructure or anyone else’s use of it.
• Scrape, harvest or automate bulk collection from the site, or use it to send unsolicited marketing.
• Attempt to reach any private or administrative area you have not been given access to.

Our forms are rate-limited and monitored for abuse. We may decline or block submissions that trip those protections. If that ever catches you by mistake, call us — we will sort it out.

What you send us

The forms on this site are not a channel for protected health information. Send us enough to make contact, and we will take the clinical detail through a secure channel. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle what you do send, and it forms part of these terms.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, photography, illustration, the HomeCare Roots name and logo, and the design and code of the site itself — belongs to HomeCare Roots LLC or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You are welcome to read it, print it, and share links to it. Referring physicians and discharge planners may print and share our pages with families; that is what they are for. You may not copy the site’s content to republish it as your own, use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, or resell any part of it.

Links to other sites

We link to third-party resources — Georgia Medicaid, state programs, our social media pages — where they are genuinely useful. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices. A link is a pointer, not an endorsement.

Availability and accuracy

We work to keep this site accurate and available, and we cannot promise either without interruption. Program rules change, our services evolve, and pages can fall behind. The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. If something here matters to a decision you are making, call us and confirm it with a person.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeCare Roots LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of this website, or out of reliance on information published on it. This clause is about the website. It does not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and it does not limit our responsibilities as a healthcare provider to the families in our care — those are governed by our service agreements and by Georgia law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes relating to this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services or the law change. The current version always lives at this address, with the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
